We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, accounting obligations, audit requirements, dispute handling, security, backup recovery, or other legitimate business purposes.
Because LumaHQ is an accounting and bookkeeping product, business records, invoices, quotes, receipts, bills, reports, audit logs, and related private document files may be retained after an account or workspace is closed. Our production infrastructure is designed to retain accounting document versions for up to 14 years unless a different period is required or permitted.
If an account or workspace is deleted or becomes inactive, we may first disable access and archive or soft-delete the workspace while retaining accounting records for the applicable retention period. When retention is no longer required or permitted, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify the information.
6. Information Security
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, please also remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100% secure.
